Window & Solar Panel Cleaning in Cranbrook and Sissinghurst
Ladder-free window cleaning for the period houses, post-war estates and country homes of Cranbrook, Sissinghurst, Hartley and Colliers Green.
A Wealden town with a lot of glass
Cranbrook grew rich on the Wealden cloth trade, and it shows in the buildings. The town grew up along the old King’s High Road, which is now the High Street, Stone Street and Waterloo Road. The centre is a conservation area, under St Dunstan’s, the “Cathedral of the Weald”, and the Union Mill, the windmill built in 1814 that still stands over the rooftops. Weatherboarded and tile-hung houses sit side by side, many with small-paned windows, bays and dormers.
After the war, the town expanded with the Wheatfield estate to the north and the Frythe estate to the south. Our Cranbrook round covers the old centre and The Hill, Bakers Cross, Carriers Road and Quaker Lane. It also takes in Wheatfield Drive and Frythe Way, and goes out along Angley Road, Golford Road, Hartley Road and Turnden Road.
Sissinghurst
A mile or so to the north-east, Sissinghurst (once called Milkhouse Street) is best known for Sissinghurst Castle Garden. In the village itself we clean along The Street, Common Road, Chapel Lane and Mill Lane, and out on Biddenden Road and Frittenden Road.
Solar panel cleaning in Cranbrook
If you have solar panels, whether on the house, a barn or a garage roof facing open fields, dust, pollen and bird mess build up on them over time. We clean solar panels with purified water, using soft brushes and no detergents. Book it on the same day as your windows to save a separate trip.
Everything else we clean
- Windows, frames and sills on 4 or 8-weekly rounds. Small panes and leaded lights are fine with our poles.
- Weatherboarding and cladding: soft-washed to remove the green, without high-pressure water.
- Conservatory roofs and orangery glass.
- Gutters cleared with a vacuum from the ground, with camera photos.
- Fascias and soffits.
- Shop and school windows: commercial cleaning for premises in the town centre.
What our customers say
“I always said that I would clean my own windows but it became a bit of a chore. I searched online for a local window cleaner and found Clearview Windows. I received a competitive quote from Wez which I accepted and have now experienced my first clean. I’m very happy with the outcome and should add that Wez was able to reach some high windows that I was never able to reach. So far so good and would highly recommend.”

Cranbrook window cleaning FAQs
Cranbrook is a fair way from Paddock Wood. Do you come regularly?
Yes. We plan Cranbrook and Sissinghurst visits so we clean several homes on the same day, which keeps a 4 or 8-weekly round practical.
Will a water-fed pole work on old timber windows?
Yes. We use pure water with no chemicals, and the brush is soft, so it’s gentle on painted timber, old glass and leaded lights.
Can you clean panels on a barn or garage roof?
Usually, yes, if we can reach them safely from the ground. Send us a photo and we’ll give you free quotes.
