Window Cleaner in East Peckham, Hale Street & Beltring
East Peckham is about four miles up the road from our base in Paddock Wood, and we already have regular customers across the parish.
The parish grew from a string of old hamlets along the Medway: Roydon, Hale Street, Beltring, Little Mill, The Pound, Snoll Hatch, The Bush, Goose Green and Chidley Cross. So our East Peckham round is not one tidy village street. It runs along Pound Road, where the shops and the primary school are, then onto Old Road, Tonbridge Road and Maidstone Road. It takes in the closes off the centre, such as Russett Road, Pippin Road, Bramley Road, Golding Gardens, Whitebine Gardens and Hop Bine Close, and goes out to Hale Street, Bush Road, Snoll Hatch Road, Smithers Lane, Bullen Lane, Chidley Cross Road and Roydon Hall Road.
Homes on the Medway flood plain
Much of East Peckham sits on low ground where the River Bourne meets the Medway. The parish has its own flood relief scheme, including a dam on the Coult Stream at Bullen Farm. Damp valley air is hard on frames and rooflines. North-facing sills and uPVC tend to go green quickly, and gutters under the big trees along the lanes fill quickly in autumn.
That’s why most East Peckham customers have more than the glass done. On a 4 or 8-weekly window round we clean the frames and sills each time. Then once or twice a year we add whichever of these the house needs:
- Gutter cleaning: vacuumed out from the ground, with camera photos so you can see they’re clear.
- Fascias and soffits: we take the green and black staining off the white plastic.
- Conservatory roofs: moss and algae cleared so the light comes back in.
- Cladding and weatherboarding: soft-washed, ideal for barn and oast conversions out towards Beltring.
- Solar panels: rinsed with pure water, with no brushes that scratch.
- Window cleaning: upstairs and down, done from the ground with a water-fed pole.
Beltring and the oast houses
Beltring is home to The Hop Farm, which has the world’s largest collection of oast houses, and hop farming shaped the whole parish. Many oasts and farm buildings around East Peckham are now homes, with roundels, skylights and windows at odd heights. Our water-fed poles reach those windows without ladders, and if the house has roof windows we also offer Velux window cleaning.
Up on the higher ground to the north is the old church of St Michael, now looked after by the Churches Conservation Trust. Holy Trinity, built in the 1840s, stands in the centre of the village. We clean houses near both, and the farmhouses in between.
What a customer says about our gutter cleaning
“We have had our windows cleaned by Clearview for many months now and they’ve always done a great job! But what made me write this review today is that i recently booked them in to clear my gutters and was astounded by the the equipment they used to do the job, absolutely superb ! They even showed me pictures of all my gutters cleared afterwards. Great job and thank you.”

East Peckham window cleaning FAQs
Do you cover Hale Street and Beltring as well as the village?
Yes. Hale Street, Beltring, Snoll Hatch and the lanes towards Mereworth and Yalding are all part of our East Peckham round.
Do I need to be at home?
Not for a window clean. We text the day before, so you can leave the side gate unlocked. For gutters or a conservatory roof we’ll agree a time with you.
Can I have a one-off clean?
Yes. Plenty of people start with a one-off clean, for example after building work or before a move, and then decide whether to go on a 4 or 8-weekly round.
